The other day i asked for advice on Arbuckle and got some good hints. But i didnt really get to use it much. The lake was FULL of HUGE boats all day, so i didnt brave the wakes all day on the points. We fished rock creek mostly. Caught probably 40 smallies and spots b/t us. Didnt land any over 2 pounds though (lost a really nice one) But my buddy did catch a 9 pound channell on a medium spinning rod. It was really cool cause it was the biggest fish he had ever caught, he was excited. For that matter, i havent caught but a couple that size. Thanks for the tips, i felt bad not posting the results, so here ya go. No pics though (left the camera in the truck dangit)
Cool! Glad to hear you got into them. There are a lot of small bass in there... You need to keep your limit, or as the game warden has told us "Throw them on the bank!" LOL I'm not sure I'd do that, think he could turn around a write you a ticket if he was in a bad mood?!?! LOL Dunno, we laughed about it... But he was serious, he came up to us and said he had been watching us. A nice guy... This was probably 7 years ago now.
