The family keeps bugging me to make venison jerkey, I normally don't make jerkey since it doesn't last long, but since my kids have shot 4 deer, I guess that I better start making some. I will have round steaks and ground to use. If I hear good things, from the notebook crew, I will buy a "jerky gun"
Any advice?

This is the recipe I use, its delicious and I like that you can use ground instead of having to try and slice thin, no jerky gun required.
