Im getting between 8 to 10 psi at around 5000 rpm. We looked it up and it said 8 to 10 psi min at 5000 rpm. Is that low? I put a new water pump in it and new water gauge. Not sure if the gauge is working properly. Haven't heat an overheat alarm. Always thought they ran around 21 or 22 psi while running. How do you test a gauge?

Might try posting this in Bean's section, I'm sure he could give you a better answer. From what I've read, you should be getting a minimum of 12 psi and 15+ is better.

check your thermostat also man, my EFI had a quirk with it when I got it due to a stuck thermostat, was stuck wide open and caused the pressure to be off all the time, it should spit when it's at idle unless the engine is hot, at normal op temps at idle mine literally spits, soon as it comes over 1k it is a steady stream, been told that was exactly what it was supposed to be doing by a few people on the EFI mine runs around 15 at 5k though according to the guage
