Had my boat out yesterday and was watching the guages for a change as the MPH and RPM guages were not working. MPH is just stopped up and I need to unclog it. RPM usually works.
Anyway my oil pressure guage reads from 0 -30. At idle I believe it is about 5. Under full bore the pressure guage peaks out at the needle and tends to stay there. Is this a problem or a bad reading, ?? What would be normal. I know the question will come up what RPMs were showing and I already stated they were not working yesterday.
thanks for any suggestions or information

Maybe it is not oil pressure but it definitely says pressure and I thought it was oil. I have a self oiler(I guess you call it) with the oil reservoir

Thats your water pressure gauge -- normally running around 4500 RPMs you should be reading over 15PSI
