I have a Fisher 1754 center console aluminum Jon Boat. It has a livewell that is built in to the front of the center console. It has a aluminum floor and the livewell sits on top of the floor. The drain from the livewell out the bottom of the boat is broken off inside the boat so I now have a 1 5/8 in hole in the bottom of the boat. Bass Pro said the only way to fix it is to drill out the rivets and remove the floor and center console to gain access to repair the line. Would it be possible to cut an access hole through the bottom of the livewell and then through the floor of the boat for access to repair the line? At $95 an hour labor I can't afford to have the floor and console removed. Any other suggestions?
