have a 1994 C115TLRS. Plain Jane basic motor. No oil injection, with carbs. I have had problems for the last couple of years getting the motor started. I have replaced the fuel pump, and rebuilt the carbs. Took it it a mechanic last fall, he adjusted the carbs and said it run like a top. It does when it runs. Sometimes it will die when I an sitting at the dock and have problems restarting it. The main time i have problems if it I make a run to my fishing spot, and fish for a while. When I try to restart it it will to try and fire then die. Crank, Crank, nothing. Let it set for a while and try again. Eventually it will start. When it will not start I do not see any fire at the plugs, as soon as I see fire it will try to start. Is their any way to figure out if the trigger or the power pack is the problem? It sure acts like an intermittent problem with the electrical system. Power packs are not cheap............
When it is running at WOT it sounds great, runs great, but I have had it die at a fast idle. Any ideas?
