What kind of structure is it below the bridge on the damn? Why is it such a hotspot for fish? I've been fishing at Lake for 2 years now, watching fishing and learning. That bridge seems to produce more than any other spot on the lake, my question is why?

I am not sure what the structure is below the bridge, but it is likely just some water release infrastructure or some form of water supply structure for OKC water lines. But even thought we may not know what it is, I can give you a good idea of why the fish are there. Fish actively seek moving water to feed because the food there is usually pretty easy to catch and eat. Tailwater fish (living below a dam) thrive when water is released beause the moving water also brings food right to them. The spot you are talking about might be a perfect funnel area where predators can find food moving into a confined area, which makes for an easy meal.

Kurt, the water in front of the bridge I speak of is not running or much movement at all. It just seams to be the only spot ppl want to fish. I watched ppl hammer fish all small Sandies & wiper most were put in a bucket ..got sick watching them. Fish after fish in that spot tho. The waters not spilling out the other side. So I have no clue as to why is the spot for f.ish to hang out.
