I wonder what those "two structures" are going to be?

How feasible would it be to make some heat exchangers, and draw surface water through the heat exchanger, pumping said surface water through the exchanger down to the bottom of the dam, using that cold water to cool the suface water down, then run that out to cool and oxygenate the LI?

Probably a weir or weirs.

One of dad's friends from another construction company put a bid on building those structures. I'll have to ask him later what kind of structures they were wanting to build.

Scratch that, dad's friend from Brett Barnheart Construction already has the contract to do the job. I may have to skip school to go help them on it.

I'm all for it as long as it doesn't affect the striper feeding program! More trout for us and them.....

This is great news. I am glad to see state, and federal agencies working together. For the RIGHT reasons.
