If this is in the wrong place please redirect it to it's proper place.

Team Smack Tackle took a trip to Tenn. to try for stripers and hybrids. It has rained in my area for two months and all the lakes are blown out. We fished Norris the first day and didn't catch a fish. There was a major cold front come through and it never got out of the 40's all day. The next two days we fished Cherokee Lake. The front was starting to ease, but it was still cold and rained off and on throughout the day. We didn't have much luck until right before dark when a school of hybrids came up. We were throwing Flitterbaits and burning them back with a few pumps mixed in. They couldn't stand that technique and we ended up catching a bunch (lost count because of the heat of battle) from 3 to 9 lb. The next day we fished the same area and just like the day before, the hybrids came up in the same spot. We caught fish on Flitterbaits and Smack Jacks(prototype wake bait)until dark. We fished after dark but had to wait until 1 a.m. for the shad to come up but when they did it was on! We caught 14 hybrids from 3-7 lb all on the Smack Jack. We caught them from 1-3:30 a.m. when we called it a night. We left them biting.

The Smack Jack is hangin from that next to last hybrid Tweety -- it is a killer wake bait and dynamite on hybrids/striper and LM -- bye bye redfins !!!

The Smack Jack isn't ready for release to the public. We need to make sure they catch fish first. We might as well be the ones to try them out.
