Jackson lake north and west of mounds, about 10 minutes from the snake farm. (If you're savvy on sapulpa landmarks)
lots of 7-9" bluegill and 11-14" bass as well as some SOLID channel cats. Its only 5 minutes from my house so I fish it a lot, shoot me a PM sometime and we'll meet up out there.

Head to the west corner of the dam, cricket or hopper under a cork and it'll be game on for hours.

Once the temp warms up, Pretty Water, northwest of Sapulpa, is fairly good.  Depending on the age of your boys, you might just need a permit for yourself, or you might need a family permit.  That can get expensive.  Personally, if you don't mind a drive, New Beggs City Lake has some good sunfish in it, and doesn't cost anything.  Bixhoma can be nice as well.  If Bristow's little city lake ever gets back up to normal pool, it will start producing some nice sunnies again.
