Went out to Draper on a whim Sunday morning....spoke with a guy that was fishing off the dam - told me that they were dumping water back into the lake
Scurried on over to the inlet and sure 'nuff - there was was water a-flowing !
Plugged around for about 2.5 hrs-caught some sandies, and several small bass

It's about time we heard a fishing report from you!
Hope life is treating you good over there in OKC.

Thanks Danny !

Been off my game lately,....but, you best believe-I am going to be Jordanesque in my return !

Hope that you (and fam.) have been doing very well

Where are the hotspots(for sandies) up your way ?!....need to plan a trip somewhere

I didn't see you're reply until today Mr. Jordan!

And I'm afraid that this rain may have pretty much changed any HOT spot into a torrent.

I really didn't sand bass fish this spring. I've done a little bass fishing and plugged around the river a little. Always caught a few fish, mostly cats, but no big numbers. But for sand bass fishing, it's always a good bet at Chouteau Bend above Fort Gibson, Horseshoe Bend above Tenkilller and the main river above Grand (which I've never fished).
There's always some fish in the Cimarron for us waders at this time, but not catchable after this rain.
Post us up a pic one of these days!
