How to cook steelhead

My wife is in Michigan, staying with her parents that are both sick and her dad wants her to cook him some steelhead that he has in the freezer. Does anyone know how to go about it. Thay can not have any salt and he told her it needed to be baked. Any one have any ideas?

Season the fillets liberally with Mrs. Dash (YES!). Place the fillets in a baking dish. Pour a little white wine into the pan (Chablis works well). Cover the pan with foil, and place into a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes per inch of thickness of the fillets.

Your wife should be able to get a small bottle of Carlo Rossi brand Chablis at either a Meijer's, Kroger, or even a Wal-Mart, as they all sell booze in grocery stores up there. If she can't find it there, have her go to a party store to get some, as they carry just about everything.

Thanks Allen, I will forward it to her. I told her to spread butter on the filets and bake on a 2x6 for 30 min at 500 degrees, remove from oven throw the fish away and eat the 2x6.
