I'm not real picky except about price.  I can't afford to be too picky.
Does anyone know of any hunting boot brands that sell them in widths?
I have freakishly odd feet.  The normal W sizes do not get the job done unless I go at least 3 sizes up in length.  Even then not great.  That leaves me with enough room in the toe to house a family of mice, not to mention they are awkward and breakdown pretty quick due to the misfit.

I have been pretty impressed with the Muck Boot Company hunting boots. I have a wide foot myself an they are very comfortable. Also very warm and water proof. I have had mine since 07 and they are still going strong and I am in them woods putting ALOT of miles on them each year.

I've had good success with Danner boots.  I like the high top type.  Keeps my old ankles from rolling while stomping around in the woods.

There are so many choices out there now.  I'd read a lot of reviews then move ahead. Some require more break in than others.

Good luck.

I've been wanting to try a pair of Muck Boots.  Think I'll pick up a pair this year.  Which model do you suggest?

I am not real sure on the model as its been years since I bought them lol. They are insulated and high tops come right below the knee. I'd advise not to get the really heavy insulated ones. They would be HOT, the pair I have really warms up if you wear them in anything above 65-70 degrees. That's when I just fold the tops down if I am already in the stand, helps cool ya off some.

Thanks for the replies.  I use to wear a duck boot style and get by with it, but was not a fan of walking in them much.  I plan on following the beagles with my son more this year and need something to walk in.  I may have to get some super wide hiking style boots for that though.  I had some pack style boots for a long time that were great for in the stand, but were made more for riding a snow mobile.  I'll look at Mucks or a similar style.
