I would fish the point on the north bank just east of the new marina and hit the point that is straight south of that towards the bridges. Also the whole south bank back west to the railroad rip rap usually holds some fish. Spooks, poppers and buzzbaits early...I switch to a Texas rig later in the day or try using a medium running crankbait and you might catch some sandies. I am usually fishing for bass when I am on that lake.

Good luck to you all! You picked a good place to fish.

You can't go wrong with JW's bass tips.
There's crappie under the nearby 51 bridge along the pilings, nice ones - not those Sahoma toots.
There used to be a few below the nearby oil well derrick - but I haven't fished the spot in years.

I heard a story about Danny William and a hammer head shark recently.

I would guess that he doesn't take his Kayak to the sea, very often.

The more you practice, the luckier you get.
