Hi Duckman how are you?
Coaching baseball in the spring sure does eat into the fishing time. Weekends are full of repairing the lawn and flowerbeds from the ice storm. If I say so myself, my wife and I pride ourselves in the way our yard looks so right now all spare time is put into repairing. Finishing all the flower beds would be great. Then the fishing might improve for me. Baseball games and practice do not allow me to even leave school until 6 pm in the evenings. By then I am ragged out and still have the next day to prepare for. Busy, busy, busy. Oh well I am not telling you anything new. I hope to see you out there one of these days. Sounds like the sandies are running well. Maybe some weekend I can slip up there for an hour or so and try to have a fish fry. Thanks for keeping Arcadia fishing going.

Duckman is the blue cat fishing any good right now?

I have been catching some in the river and the lake both. Not sure right now, but I feel sure it is good in shallows to 15 feet. I have been targeting sandies in the river lately. The lake has been high enought to drive up the river for blues, that was a week ago though. Not sure now, course, my pontoon sits a little deeper than my fish/ski did.

sorry, been busy. Fishing is great right now, especially in front of the fronts. Catfish, especially blues are beginning to turn on right now and for the next 15 or so water degrees. Live bait works well and so do storm lures and other shad resembling baits. I am a shad fisherman and it is plentiful this year. I noticed an exceptional amount of gulls this year. Good luck
